Fall Wedding Style: Caitlin’s Tips

My hands down favorite thing about fall weddings are the COLORS. While the soft and romantic neutral weddings are always stunning, I just love the variety of fun and bold colors that come with the fall palettes! Check out some of my favorite ways to incorporate autumn colors and fresh fall vibes into your wedding!

One of the first places we start when designing a wedding is the bride’s bouquet and I am not going to lie – when the bride says she wants a little color incorporated into her bouquet, my heart does a happy dance!

This bouquet screams fall romance to me. The deep burgundy roses & peonies (my all time favorite flower that makes its second appearance for the year in fall) with the contrasting almost black calla lilies with just the subtle touch of orange – I just can’t get enough. This bouquet was wrapped with gold ribbon, adding a bit of elegance and glam while still remaining organic and fall like, with the lower portion of stems exposed.

A great way to bring fall to life at your wedding is to incorporate a fresh seasonal signature drink. Adding some fresh cranberries or a splash of apple cider to a Moscow Mule transforms this traditionally summer cocktail into a fall refreshment your guests will surely love!

Don’t limit your florals to JUST florals! Playing with other fall elements like kumquats, thistles and berries will really bring your centerpieces to life with vibrant fall colors.

While the sun is out, fall is usually perfect weather for your outdoor wedding. However the evening temps tend to drop making it a bit chilly. Favors like these custom pashminas will keep your guests warm and comfortable while celebrating into the night.

A trend that has been around for awhile now (that we are totally ok with!) is wood farm tables. We love the natural element they bring, especially for fall al fresco dining, however since the use of farm tables means no statement linens – we are left to find more ways to bring in color.

These Dupionique chair pads in Rust from La Tavola were the perfect way to bring in a pop of fall color to this stunning table scape.
